A Grup was established in 2002 after a decade of experience offering Consultancy Services in Professional Sound and Lighting Systems. Shortly after the company was founded, it swiftly made it’s mark in the industry with its well known brands, experienced professional team and the company’s proficiency in Low Current Systems. A Grup has become a specialist in Professional Sound and Lighting Systems, Imaging Systems, Stage Mechanics, Closed Circuit Camera Systems, Security Systems, Fire Detection and Alarm Systems, Satellite Broadcasting Systems, Conference Systems, Professional Façade and Architectural LED Lighting Systems, Building and Home Automation Systems, Access Control and Security Systems and Projection Systems. The Company has successfully synthesised some of the world’s most renowned brands, whilst offering turnkey solutions for clients.
With references that include some of the top Hospitals, Hotels and Holiday Villages of the last 5 years as well as the Heydar Aliyev Center in Baku -which is accepted as being one of the top five most important projects of modern architecture A Grup continued with its pioneering role within the industry. Architectural LED lighting of Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge, World ‘ s widest suspension bridge:59m, World ‘ s largest suspension bridge with main span bridge:1408m, World ‘ s tallest towers of suspension bridge in Istanbul, is another important reference of A Grup as well. In the one of the major hospital project in Europe Bilkent Integrated Health Campus which is around 1.200.000 m2 A Grup has completed all weak currency sytems installation as a subcontractor of Siemens.
In 2009, Swarco Street Lighting factory was established by Swarco which is itself owned by the Swarovski Company, Swarco has become a market leader in Europe with high-tech, high-productivity and high-quality lighting. A Group Lighting ( AGL ) which is owned by A-Grup Ses ve Işık Med.Sav.San.Dan. Ltd.Şti has concluded an agreement to buy the name and production rights of this factory, all machinery and equipment, moulds, patents and certificates.
The agreement also contains certain proviso`s part of which is that Swarco will carry on marketing the products which will be produced by a Turkish company AGL through its own marketing division. While the majority of the parts for the products will be produced in Turkey, lenses and diodes, circuits and drivers manufactured with the Swarovski quality and advanced technology will be supplied from abroad from countries like Japan, Korea, USA and also major European countries.
